While the subject has long been the focus of the integration discourse, migrant organisations are increasingly taking a central position in the struggle for the power to interpret this transition. Against this background, the study analyses the conditions under which collectives within a (post-)migrant society attain social existence and agency. How are they addressed in integration policy and how do they position themselves in relation to this appropriation?
